Essie Ruby Slippers

This was red week for my nails. I didn't plan it, I just wore red for the whole week. One of the reds I wore was Essie Ruby Slippers ♥♥♥♥♥.


I remember going to my TJ Maxx last year and finding a few mini's of Essie Ruby Slippers but I never bought them because I don't like mini polishes. Then I saw pictures of the polish and instantly fell in love but I still could not bring myself to buy the mini. Well I finally purchased the full size and I am VERY pleased. I love the red glitter in the red jelly base. There are even small bits of silver glitter in it. I should have used Gelous Basecoat and then Seche Vite so it wasn't so gritty, but it was no biggie, next time I need to remember to do that.

    I love how the different colors of glitter in this polish sometimes make it look like fire!

    I bought the mini then found the full size one and still haven't swatched it yet. I got to put this one on my list. It's very pretty on you :)
